Event Packaging


The Art Institute of Seattle approached me to create a poster for their charity event, “Bras for the Cause.” This event encouraged the fashion design students to create bras to be showcased in the school’s gallery. It was a marketing move to generate buzz for their collaboration with “Walk for Hope”. Though I did this for a real client, I saw huge potential in this project and decided to take it further into student work. For that, I needed a high profile client to support a larger budget for this piece. I felt that this would be a great charity event for Victoria’s Secret. They could provide a bra decoration kit that would drive consumers to their store.

The term "Bras for the Cause" has been used to name several events that aren't necessarily affiliated with one another. Creating this event could be a one-time celebration or an annual party. Victoria's Secret makes a wonderful match for this because their celebration of pink mirrors the breast cancer awareness platform perfectly. It would provide good marketing for the store and give back to the community.
